| Hello fellow xanga readers!
Well, it's that time again for another update.j
Now that school is over my life consists of one thing...work! But my main focus at this current moment is New York City! I leave on Sunday with my mom and I cannot wait! I can't wait to shop, and see shows, and go to my favorite restaurants only found in New York. My mom and I are seeing three shows:
Tarzan The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee The Drowsy Chaperone
I'm very excited to see all of these show. I'm also just excited to spend some time with my mom in my favorite city in the world!
Ummm...I had my first rehearsal for Beauty and the Beast the other day. It went very nicely. The cast is super nice and seems to be quite a talented bunch. I'm very excited to see where this cast is going to take this show because I am sure it's somewhere amazing. The show will be great.
Beauty and the Beast opens July 14th in Gainesville, so mark your calendars!
Not much else to say for now...I'm off to go tanning!

| Well, here's a quick update...
Work is fine...don't love it, but the money is good.
Can't wait to start my second semester at KD Studio and get into my real musical theatre classes.
Auditioned for Beauty and the Beast in Gainesville this past week and got cast as...wait for it...
THE BEAST!
I leave for New York City with my mom in a week and a half and I can't wait!
And my 21st birthday was amazing! Thank you to all my best friends for giving me the most awesome 21st birthday ever!

| What!?! After two and a half months I am updating my xanga!?! Yes...yes, I am.
Well, for the past two and a half months my life has been work and school. I started at KD Studio in the beginning of February and I must say I am thoroughly enjoying myself. This semester only consists of acting classes and while I like them...I need music and dance classes to keep me more occupied. So, I can't wait to start those in June. I've made some awesome friends and met some cool people since I have been there. When I started in February there were four other first semester musical theatre students with me...well...three of them have dropped out, so now it's only me and Lindsey but she's awesome, so I can't complain that much. I guess it was just too much to handle for some people.
I haven't been in a show since last OCTOBER!!! This is way too long. Especially since I was in back to back shows for years up until last fall. Sadly enough I still don't have time to be fully dedicated to a show and probably won't be until I graduate from KD in September 2007. Although, I am going to the GREASE audition on Sunday at DCT to be a member of the ensemble. I don't want a role because I don't have time, but I do want to be in a show and my friend, Whitney, IS the choreographer. So...maybe they'll let me be a part of the ensemble knowing I can only make it to like two rehearsals a week. *crosses fingers* But Mary and I are auditioning for Beauty and the Beast at the beginning of May. I don't know...maybe I'll HAVE to force myself to make time to be in a show. While my school is providing awesome training for me, I would also like to put that training into good use. Who knows...
I had a great Easter yesterday. I woke up and went to church by myself...wasn't all that bad seeing as how I was sitting amongst MANY families. The sermon was awesome and Matt Chandler spoke ever so dynamically, as always. Then I hung out with Brandy and made an Easter basket for my fellow employees at work. Following that I went to lunch with Meredith! I took her to Hannah's where I had life-changing crabcakes. Meredith...I WILL see your South Pacific video soon! Then...I went to work. Surprise! Surprise! But I had a good time nonetheless.
I can't wait for next month. Guess where I am going...it's not that hard if you really know me! Yep! New York City! Again...but this time with my mom. Everything is booked and paid for and I can't wait. We're seeing Tarzan, The Lion King (I surprisingly have never seen it), and The Drowsy Chaperone starring Sutton Foster. I can't wait to go to New York City in the Spring, I'm sure it'll be beautiful.
Because of going to school, going to work, going out to Fry Street every Thursday night and getting no sleep on the weekends due to partying and seeing friends, and even getting no sleep during the week due to partying and seeing friends...my life keeps me pretty busy, but I love it.
This weekend...visiting my Stacy at OCU and seeing OCU's production of PARADE (I LOVE this show, I can't wait!), going to a cocktail party/fashion show, auditioning for GREASE, and work!
Hopefully I'll update again soon.

| Hello all!
I haven't updated in a while and for that I apologize.
Well, I start classes at KD Studio on Monday and I couldn't be more excited! I have an orientation on Friday and I have no idea when it is and no one seems to be getting back to me via email, so I will just have to call up there tomorrow. The only thing I am not looking forward to is commuting to Dallas every single day! That'll cost me about $30 a week, oh well...thank God I drive a car and not a truck or an SUV.
My parents have now bestowed on me bills! I have a lot of bills to pay off and at first I was scared I wouldn't be able to balance my money, but when I think about it I'm actually kind of excited to be given the responsibility of these finances. It's about time I learned how to take care of myself when it comes to money. Sure my parents will still be paying for my rent, but that's it. I have at least four credit card bills to pay off totalling a lot of money. Oh well, I ain't scurred!
My life still consists of work...work...and more work! But my schedule keeps getting crappier and crappier with bad sections. It's about time I have a talk with my manager because I've worked there too long to be getting bad sections all the time.
I wish I had an exciting story to tell y'all, but I don't really. I have a new scar! Is that exciting? I was at ATTICUS with friends the other night and we were all dancing and Courtney stabbed me on the back of my hang with her cigarette and now there's a scar. It didn't hurt much. I took it like a man. Speaking of ATTICUS...I go there probably three times a week. Is that sad? I go there so much I am now on the "list" and get in before everyone else because I'm recognized as a regular. Oh well, more time to party. Shane and Lance's friend, Ryan, came back into town this past weekend and we had good times partying it up every night. Umm...can anyone explain the condom wrapper left on Courtney and Leeann's coffee table...? Um, gross.
The other day I was at Three Fins and had the most amazing margarita ever! Anyone else like chambord? It was so life-changing.
Oh well, I guess I don't have much else to say. My mom and I are planning a trip to New York City. I'll be there again from May 22nd to May 29th! Can't wait!!! (I'm too obsessed...)
I love my OTB crew! And here's why:
Leeann: "What are you taking?" Scary voice: "Your VIRGINITY!!!"
Not so sober Colby: "What movie is this?" Us: "Fight Club" Colby: "No, it's not."
Courtney: "Leeann, if you don't finish getting ready by the time I finish my drink...I'll...make another one."
"Butters!"
Lance: "Did y'all know Perkins can't smell?" Bree: "Why not?" Lance: "Because he can't smell."
Bree: "I hate you, Dustin!" (after I pantsed her drunk ass and she laid on the floor in her thong lol)
And...Shane and Courtney having no inhibitions with us in the next room. Um, awkward.

| Well, I am back from New York City and what an amazing trip!!! Lots of shopping (on 5th Avenue I might add), lots of fine dining and fun dining, three broadway shows, meowing strangers, drug dealers in Washington Square, meeting David Hyde Pierce and Hank Azaria, having my cell phone battery fly off and land on the subway train track, walking through a snow-covered Central Park, returning to Rue 57 more than once for their amazing tea, picture taking and walking around Wall Street in search of the Bowling Green Bull (which we found!), taking the ferry to Liberty Island to see the Statue of Liberty, freezing cold winds one day and cool 50 degree breezes the next, seeing original paintings by my favorite artist, Van Gough, at The Metropolitan Museum, and so much more!
I saw Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, The Light in the Piazza, and Spamalot and all three were AMAZING. My favorite is really between The Light in the Piazza and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, but I really can't decide. What WAS cool though was that we saw Dirty Rotten Scoundrels on Sunday evening which was John Lithgow's last performance EVER because he's leaving (or has now left) the show. So, the full original cast was there (including Sherie Rene Scott who is always absent and Norbert Leo Butz who has been out sick for the past week with food poisoning). At the end of the show the directors and producers came out and gave speeches, they gave John Lithgow a gift and John gave a speech. There were tears everywhere amongst the cast and audience, it was amazing. The broadway press was there photographing every minute of it. And at the end when the ensemble came out for the final numer some of John Lithgow's friends were hidden in there in costume including his daughter and David Hyde Pierce (who walked across the street from Spamalot for the occassion). It was probably the most amazing broadway experience I have ever had because not everyone gets to go to an original cast members last performance. It was truly special and amazing...and so were our SEATS!!!
I got lots of hot new clothes, but what sucks is that I now have no phone since my battery is under the subway trains in NYC. And I went to Cingular today and it turns out they don't make my model of phone anymore, therefore they don't make the battery. My contract is up in March and to switch contracts to get a new phone I'd have to go to Austin and well...I can't do that. So, I don't know what to do. So, if you want to call me or have tried, well...that's why I haven't answered. Sorry.
Oh wow, NYC was amazing and soon I'll have pictures up for y'all to see. Be excited!
I just have to work extra now to make up the money I spent, but dont' worry...I'll make it up in a few weeks luckily. Oh the joys of being a waiter.
